Any reference in this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") to "We", "Us" and "Our" is to Venn.com Limited, (please see Our Terms and Conditions here www.venn.com/c/terms for Our contact details). Any reference to "You" or "Your", means you as user of the www.venn.com (the "Site"). Capitalised terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the same meaning as those defined in Our Terms and Conditions and You should read this Privacy Policy in conjunction with Our Terms and Conditions. By accessing and continuing to use the Site, You accept the terms of this Privacy Policy. Please note that We may update and amend this Privacy Policy from time to time and any changes will be posted on the Site. If you do not agree with any of Our Privacy Policy then You should not use the Site.

YOUR DATA

We take the privacy rights of users and Members of this Site very seriously and seek to ensure the highest standards of compliance with UK Data Protection Laws and Regulations. This page sets out Our Privacy Policy and explains how Your Data will be used.   • update Your Member profile or Your Member details via Your account settings

  • when You submit an entry to a competition or prize draw;

WILL WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES?

We may pass Your Data to other parties as follows:

  • where relevant, Your name and information you voluntarily provide in Your Member profile will be published on the Members' area of the site and this will be the identity by which You are known on the Site. Where other Members wish to message or otherwise contact You, they will be able to identify You by Your Member name and any other information You may yourself disclose via the Site;
  • to Our employees and agents to administer Your Membership and the services provided to You by Us now or in the future;
  • some general statistical information about the Site user base, traffic volumes and related matters may be passed on to third parties (including Venues) but these details will not include information personally identifying You; and
  • We may disclose Your Data to the police, regulatory bodies or legal advisers in connection with any alleged criminal offence or suspected breach of the Terms and Conditions by You or otherwise where required by law.

We do not pass or sell Your Data to third persons for any other purpose than those set out in the paragraph above. Any marketing is conducted by Us on behalf of third parties and they do not have any access to Your Data unless You Yourself choose to contact them or you have opted-in to receive marketing from them.

Always think carefully before disclosing Your Data or other information to other Members or otherwise posting Your Data on the Site. It is important that You are aware that any of Your Data or other information which You disclose to another Member may then be disclosed on the Site by that Member. As stated in Our Terms and Conditions We have no responsibility or control over the contents of communications made between Members.

YOUR DATA AND FACEBOOK

If You register to become a Member through "Facebook" at www.facebook.com We may use information You have entered to Your Facebook account, to pre-populate registration fields that You need to complete when You register to become a Member.

Where You authorise Us to do so via Your Facebook and Your Membership account and privacy settings, We may access and use information about You which You have contributed to Facebook and We may publish information about You and Your use of the Site to Your Facebook profile, this information may be visible to Your Facebook friends and to other Facebook users.

You should be aware that Facebook's terms and conditions and privacy policy will govern the use of personal data that You contribute to Facebook.

DATA SECURITY

We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect the security of Your Data, (including where possible using technology to encrypt key security information).

Some Members may reside in or access the Site from countries or territories outside the European Economic Area ("EEA").
