Executive Bios

David Matalon

Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

David Matalon is the CEO and Co-founder of Venn, maker of LocalZone, the secure workspace for remote work that isolates and protects work from anything personal on the same computer. David is a successful serial entrepreneur, who started his first business when he was 13 years-old, teaching family and neighbors how to use Microsoft Word and Intuit. After college, he and a friend started Offyx, one of the original Application Service Providers. Later, he founded OS33, developers of a unique secure unified workspace that became very successful with leading financial services firms. With Venn, David leads a team committed to solving the unique computing challenges faced by companies and employees in today’s increasingly remote-first world. David has built a unique culture that emphasizes how people can thrive with a healthy work+life. A native New Yorker, David earned his undergraduate degree from NYU’s Stern School of Business and has a Master’s Degree from Columbia University. He and his wife are raising their four children in their home town of Great Neck, New York.

Alex Osipov

Chief Technology Officer

Alex Osipov is Chief Technology Officer and has led software development, technical operations and cybersecurity efforts at Venn for more than a decade. He is intimately involved in product and platform delivery. Alex graduated from Stony Brook University, lives in NYC with his wife and two children, and spends his free time pondering the future of cybersecurity and reading biographies.

Yoli Chisholm

Chief Marketing Officer

Yoli is an award-winning marketing professional building
a world-class marketing organization focused on
bringing The Venn story to life driving awareness of the
Venn brand, adoption of LocalZone and accelerating
growth. Her career spans a range of industries, including
technology, retail, travel, and telecommunications. She
was most recently the Vice President of Marketing at
Sprinklr, an enterprise software company. Yoli has also
held roles at Microsoft, Lavalife, Points.com and eBay.
She is a founding Advisor at STEAMRole.org and
RoleCoin.io.

Dvir Shapira

Chief Product Officer

Dvir is an experienced product management leader with a track record of scaling products from inception to market success. Dvir has seen accelerated growth in previous roles and at Incapsula and Imperva he has built the world’s first Cloud WAF and managed to quickly grow the business from zero to hundreds of millions in under ten years. Dvir earned his undergraduate degrees in physics and electrical engineering and also his MBA at Tel Aviv University. He is the first Vennetian hired in CA, where he lives with his wife and three children.

Jacob Kazakevich

Head of Product & Co-Founder

Jacob Kazakevich is a Co-Founder, serves as the Head
of Product and is myopically focused on development
and delivery of cybersecurity products to protect digital
assets across the financial services industry. Jacob
graduated from the NYU’s Stern School of Business. He
immigrated to the US in the early 90s and now lives with
his wife and three daughters in Manalapan, NJ.
